Focus and Scope
RACAR is a scholarly bilingual journal published by the Universities Art Association of Canada. As the only general art history journal in Canada, RACAR's scope reflects the range and diversity of art-historical practices across the country. Contributors include art historians, curators, and independent scholars. International submissions are encouraged.

Peer Review Process
RACAR is a peer-reviewed journal. Submissions will be reviewed by at least two readers. Submissions will be selected on the basis of their contribution to the field of art history, focusing on their originality, quality of research, soundness of methodology, and effectiveness of communication.
Publication Frequency
RACAR publishes two issues each year.
Archiving
This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...
