Claudie Massicotte is a doctoral candidate at the Centre for the Study of Theory and Criticism of The University of Western Ontario. Her research focuses on the relation between architecture and traumatic memories as conceived in contemporary literature, cinema and photography. She has recently published articles on literary representations of architecture in the journal Problems of Literary Genres (Zagadnienia Rodzajow Literackich), and is contributing articles to the forthcoming Encyclopedia of Women and American Popular Culture (Facts on File) and Encyclopedia of Trauma (Sage).
