Barry Magrill
Barry Magrill holds a Ph.D. from the University of British Columbia, department of Art History, Visual Art and Theory. His research includes the architecture of nineteenth- and twentieth-century North America and contemporary cultural theory. Publication subjects include religious architecture, heritage, and medieval architecture. He is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Victoria, History in Art, engaged in the study of cultural economics. His qualitative research analysis focuses on the business plans adopted in the construction of contemporary mosques and Buddhist temples in Canada.
