This Side of West is the annual undergraduate literary journal of the Writing Students Union at the University of Victoria. Each year, This Side of West selects the best works by students in poetry, drama, fiction and creative nonfiction.

Becoming an Editor

Every year TSoW needs a new editorial board and Editor-in-Chief.

To become Editor-in-Chief you must answer the call for nominations by March 15th in order for an election to be held before the launch of the magazine in the last week of March.  If only one individual is nominated she/he will become EIC by acclamation.

To become a genre editor: email your best work in the genre you want to edit by the new EIC's deadline to tsow@uvic.ca
