Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.

Author Guidelines

+ Fiction: 5,000 word maximum.
+ Poetry: 5 pages maximum.
+ Creative Nonfiction: 4,000 word maximum.
+ Drama: 25 pages maximum.
+ Cover art: up to 5 pages of visual art - full colour or black & white.

We are looking for innovative, well-written/presented pieces that not only steer clear of cliché but challenge and illuminate the topic or subject.

Important:

Register as an author so submitting is enabled on your profile.

Please adhere to proper formatting as is relevant to the genre in which you are submitting.

Unfortunately, we will not be able to consider your submission if the above rules are not followed.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
2. The submission file is a doc, docx, or pdf file format for literary submissions. Or a high quality image file such as tif. or easily readable files such as jpeg, or pdf for visual art submissions.
3. The author's name does not appear in the header or footer or title page of the submission.

4. The text for Fiction and Nonfiction is double-spaced and uses a 12-point font.

   No more than one poem per page for poetry.

5. The submission meets the guidelines word-count/page length for the genre it is submitted to.
