Appeal: Review of Current Law and Law Reform
Appeal: Review of Current Law and Law Reform is an annual double-blind peer-reviewed journal affiliated with the University of Victoria, Faculty of Law.
The objective of Appeal is to promote legal research and scholarship which views law in its social, political, and philosophical contexts. Appeal is run by a student editorial board and is committed to publishing primarily student work. Appeal welcomes submissions year-round. Submissions may be emailed to appeal@uvic.ca.

ARTiculate
ARTiculate is a peer-reviewed graduate student journal of art history published by the University of Victoria. The publication aims to further the establishment of a graduate art historical community by offering graduate students the ability to disseminate their knowledge and engage in an editorial process that is shaped by the insights of peers well-versed in their chosen area of study. In keeping with the inclusive conception of art that is embraced within a global art history, ARTiculate does not privilege a singular culture or medium in its selection of manuscripts. Rather, the publication serves to circulate highly original submissions that are valued for their contributions to the preexisting scholarly conversation.

International Journal of Social Studies Review
The International Journal of Social Studies Review (IjSSr) is focused on supporting participatory critical social studies education in aid of peace, social, political, environmental, economic, and cultural justice. The IjSSr believes all Social Studies education is political and that teaching and learning should be practiced as moral and ethical interventions in the world. The IjSSr is dedicated to publishing articles that challenge the conventional and popular construction and delivery of Socials studies education that stresses the sage on the stage banking model of education. Social Studies is an art, where the heart meets the mind. The IjSSr will seek to support the meaningful exploration, analysis and discussion of controversial and pressing issues in Social Studies education. IjSSr blends scholarship and social activism. The IjSSr invites reviews of articles, and book reviews related to Social Studies education from teachers, student teachers, graduate students, and faculty members that include the author's personal perspectives. Using new media technology, this journal will attempt to bridge the gap between scholarly research and social modes of knowledge mobilization and dissemination.

Working Papers of the Linguistics Circle
WPLC is a peer reviewed working papers journal published by the graduate students of the department of linguistics at the University of Victoria. In 2010 we switched to only online digital publication and our digital archives on this website go back to the first volume printed in 1981.
We publish one thematic issue each year. Every four years we publish the proceedings of the Northwest Linguistics Conference when the conference is hosted by graduate students in the Department of Linguistics of the University of Victoria.
