Article submissions should be between 3,500–6,000 words, including footnotes and bibliography. All text submissions must be in MS Word only. Citations should be in the humanities style (numbered footnotes) as set forth in Chicago.

Creative work

Original literary or artistic work will be considered. Submissions of short fiction or creative non-fiction, including personal essay, memoir, and creative cultural criticism, should be 1,000–3,500 words long. Poetry submissions should include three to six poems. Visual material must be in high resolution JPEG or PNG format.

Photographers or artists are invited to submit three to eight images related to this theme. The images should be such that could reproduce well in a small format. Colour images will be considered, though the number of coloured pages we can include is limited.
