BIG_Review is part of the Borders in Globalization research program, based at the Centre for Global Studies at the University of Victoria, on Vancouver Island, Canada. The editors wish to acknowledge with respect the Lekwungen peoples on whose traditional territories the university stands and the Songhees, Esquimalt and WSÁNEĆ peoples whose historical relationships with the land continue to this day. The BIG team is grateful to be able to work and live on this beautiful land.
