This narrative sequence engages with the theme as the 'power' is transferred from voyeur to viewed. The voyeur (i.e. the camera), maintains power as long as the people inside don't notice. As soon as they do, with a simple gesture of closing the curtain, they have reclaimed the power in the relationship, restricting the outsider to remain on the outside.
