George P. Nicholas
George Nicholas, Associate Professor of Archaeology, SFU, and SCE-SFU Archaeology Program Director, has
conducted archaeological research in the Interior Plateau for the last 12 years. He has published extensively on Indigenous peoples and archaeology, prehistoric human ecology, and wetlands archaeology.
Nola M. Markey
Nola Markey is a member of the 0-ChiChak-Ko-Sipi First Nation (Saulteaux) and is currently in the PhD program in Archaeology at SFU, working on the
interpretation and integration of oral history into archaeology. Her MA thesis (SFU, Anthropology) is "Gathering Dust": An Analysis of Traditional Use
Studies Conducted within Aboriginal Communities in British Columbia (2002).
