Author Biography

Jan Arreman, Independent Scholar

I am an independent researcher in philosophy. In 2018 I retired from a professional career as a software architect.  My main interests are in the areas of philosophical methodology,  ontology and metaontology, metaphysics and metametaphysics, naturalism, truth, scientific models and representation, scientific realism. I studied philosophy at Tilburg University (2009 BA) and the University of Antwerp (2011 MA with distinction). Long before that I studied macro-economics at the Erasmus University Rotterdam (1987 MA). I live with my wife and our dog in Zundert, the birthplace of Vincent van Gogh.
