Building Issue 2018.1
Scene chose the OJS platform in part because it allows us to build issues incrementally. We do not need to wait for all the contributions to go through the editorial cycle before we begin publishing content.
Issue 2018.1 is now visible as the Current Issue and will grow as we add incoming reviews, production notices, and other material.
Gretchen Minton of Montana State University kicks off this issue with a summary and critique of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival's 2018 production of Henry V. As someone whose week at OSF was cancelled by the nearby wildfires in July, I am particularly grateful for such a detailed review. Minton's work is a reminder of why academic reviewing matters: a good review gives us new material to take into our classrooms and scholarly practice, even if we didn't see that particular production.
